Richland County Mental Health kicked off the month of May as "Mental Health and Recovery Month". They held a dedication of a new flag pole to honor a former staff memberwho had died.. Tom Chambers, was the agency’s associate director for 20 years, and passed away last July. Chambers was also retired from the military and continued to support U.S. Veterans.
It was a cooler, rainy day and so the crowd may have been bigger, but still 35 people were on hand, including Miss Oho Heather Wells, Doc Stumbo, Keith Markley and Marilyn John. The new flag pole is erected directly in front of the County Mental Health Service offices at 87 First Street in Mansfield.
